We bought these sandals because my 13 month old has wide feet. These have a soft leather upper that are adjustable to fit her foot. We also love the sound that they make. At first she wasn’t sure that she liked them, but now she is running everywhere squeaking as she goes. The squeaking feature has replaced the bells on the shoes that toddlers used to wear. I can tell where she is. They are also a big hit when we go out in public.

When I bought these shoes I didn’t realize they squeak each time your child takes a step. At first I was annoyed because I wanted “normal” shoes.

My daughter hasn’t learned to walk yet. I put these shoes on her and she likes the squeaking so much that it motivates her to keep taking steps when we assist her in walking. If it motivates her to learn how to walk then the squeaking is well worth it.

By the way, these shoes are very durable and made well.

I love these shoes. My daughter has enormous feet- she’s only 14 months old, but she has a very high instep and most shoes won’t go over her toes. She also has a very wide foot. These shoes fit absolutely perfectly! She refused to wear shoes all this time, but she loves these. The squeak gets her going and she just runs with a big smile on her face whenever she has them on. They are so adorable and a perfect fit! I highly recommend these. I just ordered the pink cammoflauge sneakers since the three pair of Stride Rites I just bought her in an extra-wide still did not fit. I definitely recommend these!
