My son is super picky and sensative. So I bought this early (before he was old enough to use it) and let him get used to it. Now that we’ve had it probably 5 months my son loves it! He hasn’t figured out how to use it as a riding toy but he loves to walk or run around with it. It plays two different tunes and has a volume/on/off switch for when the tunes get really annoying. The noise is activated by either pressing the nose of the lion or by tilting the lion. that way i know if he’s made it behind the couch and tipped it over. It doesn’t have a whole lot of “educational value” persay but it’s not that kind of toy. I will say that when my son was first learning to walk it did have the down fall that it’s not very wide so he ended up pushing it sideways a lot and sometimes tipping it over on it’s side. But i fidn this just gave him a chance to learn. He never got terribly hurt, just upset. It’s probably one of his favorite toys now. He plays with it every day.
